In the summer issue, Tish Clifford, wrote an article called “The Present Revolution”. I really identified with her reasoning. Basically be fully PRESENT with your children, not just in the same room. I am embracing this idea. Although I am with my chidren through out the day, I do find myslef slipping in to that mental mind chatter world and disengaging from the reality of the moment. Going over what Im going to do first the laundry or the dishes once I’m done with “this”, this beautiful moment with my children Jai picking all the green guavas off the tree soo stoked because balls actually grow on trees for him to play with, and my sweet Nila creating a beautiful fairytale. I am choosing the moment with them more and more. I am lettin the beauty of the moment embrace me and allowing the next thing arise when it does.
She has set aside a time everynight at 9PM to pray for all the parents who are ”choosing this path of presence, and sends healing love to all parents who have yet to awaken to this force” (pg.36 TM18 Summer 2006). I am joining this prayer time with her and all the other parents.
